Thanked 13 Times in 10 PostsHm, its not working for me. I see the start screen with the moving blue dots for ages but nothing more happen.
Edit:
After 10-15 min I got a init, and the configuration seams to be finished. But i have problems to surf the web. Chinese websites from the favorites(?) seams to work, but no luck to access other websites like meizume.com or google.com

After it is installed for the first time, tap ojn enter the URL, then type the URL you want togo to.
I have tried this browser, rather ever since I got this I have not used the inbuilt Opera.
This is a really good browser, page transition is both ways forward/backward, and you can actually open things in the background and read them later.
You can also download almost anything, I have downloaded pics, vids., pdf files, text files and al that... really neat.
Another thing you can do is re-download something, I had downloaded a pdf file, that i accidentally deleted, I went to the browser and redownloaded the file... really neat feature...
IT will only take some time to init the first time, after that is is really fast.
So the [process, unzip to a folder in the Disk, use only the file that is 34KB and not the 1MB to launch the browser.
Change the col file settings folowing the instructions given above... you should be good.

Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsThis is great!
The only issue I have is with the language. When I surf to site it automatically goes to the Chinese version. In Opera we could change something to ''en'' in a file, is there such an option in UCweb too?

Thanked 5 Times in 5 Postsfor col association
Hi, thanks a lot UCbweb is great.
First time you load Ucbweb, you have to wait a little 4 -5 minutes to initialyse it. it gives you a message saying that it worked..I try it and it is great.
For .col association go to :
M8sprite->associations->double clic(tap) on txtfile->tap "add" to add an extension ->put "col" ->tap "enter" on the keyboard-> tap "save" : then .col file in UCbweb directory can be opened and modified...
TKS A lot !!!
I 'd like also to know if modifications can be made to reach directly french sites...
Tks See you!!

Thanked 1 Time in 1 Postfinally in german
not tried yet, but i'm for sure, that it will work fine, after changeing the line from a german.lng or more easier it would be, just to translate english.lng into german.lng
so i decided to delete just the chineses lng in locale folder....now i just load german sites...e.g. google^^ for sure, that it's not that fast as it would be after changing operarc vorrectly, but fast enough for me and easier right know gonna fix it in future to make it more faster.^^^what wrong crimson05??Last edited by Duci; 08-27-2009 at 08:09 PM.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 Postgerman operarc
Hi, I downloaded german.lng from opera's website (is somewhat bigger than the english...) and changed operarc like this:
Opera Preferences version 2.1
...
Home URL=http://www.google.de
Minimum Font Size=30
...
Language File=\Program Files\WebBrowser\locale\german.lng
...
HTTP Accept Language = de,en;q=0.8
...
Works fine!
