Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostNot a roamer or a company, just bored..lol.
Honestly I feel like this is a huge opportunity with an amazing and new platform. I did most of my work over at XDAdevelopers working with Windows Mobile. These platforms are so similar that the creation of the apps isn't too tough, its just the porting to take advantage of the hardware differences is time consuming. Youtube player for the Touch HD is the ideal setup, I just have to make sure all the needed lnk. and files that are accessed through windows mobile are also accessed through WinCe...then its skinning and we're set to do some downloading. I will be out of town for a while but I'll probably take my laptop with me to do some late night development. I'll be putting up videos with proof of concept, see if I can get some more developers in on the fun to speed this up. Right now, i have it up and running, it just crashes upon video download, I don't know why...thats where I'm sitting currently.

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsI have Route 66 with a west-europe map!
And it works! I only need a bluetooth GPS receiver to test it, but at the moment i can plan routes! It doesnt hang or lag, it works like a charm!
But since it is warez(ILLEGAL), i will not post it without the permission of the owners of this forum.
First i want to know from the moderators and administrators what i can do so i WONT GET BANNED!
Information about route 66:
Language: English, German, French, Italian, Dutch(My language
), Spanish,Romanian, Russian, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Czech, Greek and Turkish.
These languages has an effect on the interface(Gui) and on the speech(turn right after 100 meters)
It uses the full screen, i use Hide32 for that. Before i distribute the links to the warez files, I NEED PERMISSION FROM WHAT I CAN AND CANT SAY.
I DONT WANT TO GET BANNED.
A small package with pictures (printscreens on M8):

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsYour right, i did the same. Illegal downloaded stuff is forbidden on Meizume! It is just that people want to know if the software runs before they buy their €50 euro gps receiver
!
And dont forget that you can still plan routes without GPS!
People without gps receivers will use that part of the navigation software!

Can someone with a working MioMap version please post his MioMap.ini ? I mean it isn't illegal to post the contents of a .ini-file, is it?
Edit: never mind, figured it out...Last edited by MeisterLampe1; 03-18-2009 at 09:51 PM. Reason: obsolete...
