New Software: M8 Profile

Updated the latest English version. lol

This app can ONLY work with 0.9.0.1 firmware. 919263 you may need to upgrade your FW. Trust me, 0.9.0.1 is a good FW.

Hey Fineday,
I did upgrade to 0.9.0.1 and you are right it is a better FW.... I got speed Dial now... but some of the things are not that great... there were a lot of ring tones... and message tones but they are not there in the new FW...

After all this I was finally able to install the Profiler and make it work...
But there is an issue...
For the Ring tone I have downloaded a Classic Ring.. remember the old rotary phone rings... that one...
Now every time I use the profiler, it resets the ring to "Home" (God knows where this Home is???), shuts off the Viberate, email tone, message tone, calander tone...
IS this a bug in this app or am I not doing something right...???

I've never met such strange problem yet...

Did you press "OK" after adjusted all the settings and click the mode icon?

Looks like the app is not able to write the settings to registry.

On the sound settings... There is no OK... you just have to choose the sound, and then tap on the back button.

After I tap the mode icon it says Activated in english and perhaps says the same thing in chinese and then goes back to the desktop.
I have tried all the settings in the profiler.. except the Palne mode... and all of them once activated do the same thing...

Question... I followed the FW upgrade instructions given by I think Err0r.. put the xip .bin in the root, shut down, pressed the 2 buttons and tapped on upgrade and then restart...
I think I had read someoplace that you have to reset/clear the registry before you did that... but could not find that when I was ready to actually do the upgrade.
Could thaT be the reason why I am having registry write issues...???

I think you made something wrong. I also updated my mobile like you said and didn't made any registry cleanup before. I'm using this profile tool and it works well.

After choosing a RingTone, you come back to the profile menu (profile name, ring vol ..) . Please check that the name that stands near "Ring Tone" is the same right that the one you choose. If it's the case, just pres "OK" and you will come back to the Choose Profile page. Then select The Profile you want and it works.

updated to the newest version. one must update to FW 0903 to run it.

@fineday: I think you can ask meizu money in exchange for this app, it looks like somebody from Meizu has made it, you must be a expert with visual studio!

As Err0r said, best app to get for your M8. You got the 0903 version in english soo damn fast, YOU'RE THE MAN!

If this is your hobby, you should make it your job!

Your program is even listed on the homepage of meizu.com, meizu even uploaded it into their database. You should talk to meizu, get some money out of your hard work.(copyright on your program) This app is soo smooth, no bugs or whatever, it looks like it took you about 3 month to make it. If this is so easy to you, you should be a official meizu developer.

Ontopic: are you busy at the moment creating new features, on the way to perfection of your program? Keep us updated, and feel free to ask what changes would make the program ever better
