You can change the order by pressing+holding an icon on the M8 desktop and then dragging.

Is the Registry Editor you posted a screenshot of under WinCE or regular Windows?

The screenshot is made with Windows XP, you can install the program on your PC, and edit with the Registry Editor. You can change also the icon name. (Some programs have strange or Chineese names)

If U know also some edits for the registry please post them here

pressing+hold will let you move the icons the desire location...and renaming it, you may download desk manager application from the chinese forum, the desk manager can move, rename, generate your desired icon photo and size..... can have 16 pages of desktop, each page can contain 16 icons...

Nice method, just tested and it works.

To save the time of others, the Desktop is here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Meizu > MiniOneShell > Main

Download: http://mobile-registry-editor.en.softonic.com/pocketpc

How about the two of you noobs quit going off topic. On almost every topic that certain people post on, their posts are almost irrelevant or repeating what they have said before. It is uncalled for, annoying and just ridiculous at this stage. Some people are trying to post count++, others are just plain ignorant of common sense or decency. If you have nothing constructive to add to a thread then post once, at most!! Don't keep posting crap that is unnecessary and just a waste of time to others reading.

ON TOPIC:

natseenatkid, different OS's seem to do a few things differently. Depending on what you are looking to do, you can search through thread's already available to catch up with further info. This was a bit of a hassle I'd say for some people. I hope you get the hang of the phone easily enough and can share your experiences.

The registry editor needs to be run on your Windows computer or on the M8?

Edit: Ok, reread MaikelRunia's post. Should be run on PC. Thanks.

Does the mobile registry editor work on OS X?
EDIT: it doesnt. cant open .exe files.
Question: Is this the only known way to change the names of applications?
