QQ for M8

    QQ for M8

    I just found this on the chinese bbs, and m8fans.com
    I guess this instant messaging program is only popular in China, but let's hope they're working on the MSN too

    Seriously, I remember way back when Meizu thought they would bundle QQ with the M8. Glad they didn't; IM programs need to be optional installs.

    BTW, yes, you could say QQ is popular in China...sort of like using chopsticks is popular too

    what about skype? would be great to use on m8 (if the 3G will be available as well)

    yes it will be not in this version, but once it will. And I guess skype does require such a speed can be reached only with 3G, so that's why I mentioned it.

    actually due to the really good audio compression, skype only uses about 5kbytes/sec both up and down, if only using sound, and about 3-4 times that when videochating. so for voice at least, edge is also good. and of course there's still wifi...
    but unfortunately, according to several owners, none of skype works on M8 yet
