Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsYou mean is it working with Activesync? If that's what you're asking the answer is yes. Either you use it with AS or just as a regular USB drive.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI am using Vista and in vista there is the Mobile Device Center instead of Active Sync... basically it works to transfer files, etc... via outlook it only picks up contacts, not tasks, calendar entries, or mail.
Can somebody, tell me how to uninstall an app... i downloaded the desktop manager from M8 fans, it placed an icon on page 2 (in the middle of the page for me) but it doesn't do anything. i'd like to get rid of the icon. I couldn't find any add/remove programs option on the phone.
Also, when i run taskmanager i get a little (very tiny) pop-up dialogue box on the phone that i cannot get rid off, its in chinese so i don't know what it says... the task manager window does come up briefly in the back, but doesn't show any processes or events.
Thanks.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsRegistry Editor
I tried to use the regeditor mentioned in the first post... did not work for me password protected and obviously chinese.
Found this desktop based remote editor... works perfectly

Now if someone could help me find the CallIDlookup string in the registry that would be a great help. My problem is posted in the bugs thread.
List of bugs on the Meizu M8

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostI cannot get GPRS working with China Mobile. GPRS profile defaults to APN: CMWAP with proxy. Can't set it to APN: CMNET with no proxy?
Also, cannot add e-mail type to anything other than POP3? No IMAP nor Exchange Server?

You have to install firmware 0.8.0.3, with this version you can set:
APN
Username
Password
Proxy server
Port

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostThanks, but that's just it. I already have FW 0.8.0.3 I see all the above fields but I cannot delete the default Proxy (10.0.0.172) and Port (80) settings. I can just change the APN to CMNET, blank Name and blank Password but still does not work! On my other phone using the same SIM card, I just have CMNETas the APN and blank for everything else.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostIt's weird but once I installed the Crack for EDGE, Bluetooth, WiFi, the connection profile now shows EDGE, and the Internet access works!
WiFi really sucks though, just like Anxiousone has so well documented elsewhere.

Are you talking about the "Mthemes" app for the M8 and where to find it?
Or are you talking about M8 themes (as in theme files)?
You can download apps for the M8 (including the Mthemes app) here:Translated version of http://down.m8fans.com/.
There are a couple of themes there too.Check out "M8 for PSP v2" by ~pKraz!
