Hi all!
Since I'm not quite happy with the default ebook reading app that comes with the standard m8 firmware, I'd like to know whether there are some alternatives. I like using my m8 for reading a lot, but there are two major problems w/ the ebook app:
- only three fonts can be selected and all of them are sans serif. times new roman or something similar would be much more reading friendly...
- the ebook reader cannot display special characters such as german umlaute or the "ß", instead, those characters and one adjacent letter is displayed as a chinese character...
also, afaik, the ebook reader only supports .txts, which is kind of lame...
Is there any app out there for ebooks, or is there some workaround to fix the problems with the default app?
thanks for your help!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI didn't know that you can use MDict for reading longer ebooks. I'll try, but I don't think it'll help with the issue concerning the special characters.
Unfortunately, the link for the pluto reader is down, although I suspect it won't even read .txt
I'll try the "King Reader"!
