App. that can make Password..

Hi all,

Is there any app for M8, that can make password for Music/Video map ?
So something like child key..

In the apps or a folder or something? Afaik if you go for your documents you must select a folder and then on the bottom bar on options and then on "rename" there you can type a password. I dont know if it works if will try...

I dont get something like 'rename' only settings and there are only brightness, loop...

Not in the settings. Open your "Documents" App and then search for a folder. You only can password protect your folders.

you need a program that only protect your folders or protect processes too....that you can´t open Video or musicplayer?

protecting folders protect only the folder for browsing, but you can open the files in Video or musicplayer...

Protecting folder:

Select a folder and press option, tap on rename



following window pops up:




enter password, confirm password... voila your folder is protected, when you want look into the folder, following window pops up:




this is the way to protect folders...but you can open the files in the folder with music or videoplayer...

to unprotect the same way only no password...

you see protected folders with a lock:




To protect processes gives one app in the chinese forum, I must look for it..

half right. If you protect a subfolder of Video (e.g. /Disk/Video/secret), you can open the secret videos with the video player only if you know the password.
Hint : to protect a folder even from the folder-preview feature (4 mini-thumbnails), just use another subfolder, e.g. /Disk/Photos/secret/mypics and protect "secret" with the password. That way the "secret" folder has no thumbnails to bee seen from outside.
