opera mini 5 fixing

as u all guys know that ..
the opera mini 5 release in meizu bbs ..can't visit facebook and twitter etc.
i modify the exe and now it can surf all website.

however it is in Simp. Chi .
i will release the cab and the patch here then
see anyone can modify it into a english version

just unzip it and replace the exe inside the folder of opera mini 5

Waiting for an english release.....

I installed it and everything is in English in the menu, except the speedial site on the welcome screen that are chinese...

Edit: you are right: there are pages that are directly in chinese and there is no operarc to edit this time...

What did you install?

Works for me and all English. The only catch is that now the browser thinks I am coming from Norway. But it does work. Just unzip the the zip file and copy and paste over the Opera.exe if already installed.

why is it so "laggy" in normal mode, but in landscape mode it works perfectly..

I would appreciate someones assistance, is this the correct way to install?

1. Install original Opera Mini 5 from Opera Website (for Win Mobile) - This works fine, but i don't get a shortcut on the desktop, i can run from file explorer. How do i create a shortcut?

2. Download and overwrite the .exe file? (The files have a different file names, Original file has -WM- in the middle, the new file has -M8- ? I have tried to rename but with no luck

* download this cabfile to your computer Opera_Mini_5_M8_beta_20100412.CAB
* transfer it to your m8 and install it
* overwrite the .exe-file

kedros5 yesterday night i was very happy for your job of opera but tonight i have the message "connection failed" "unable to connect. Please review your network settings"
In settings/advanced i have select http (no socket)
This is the same problem on my 2 meizu m8.
if i install operamini normal = no problem to go on web
when i replace exe of kedros5 i have the error message.
The default browser of m8 = good and i can go on web

Very strange yesterday it worked fine ??
Did someone have the same problem ?

i use wlan to go on web

I guess the problem is, taht you want to get into the internet via WLAN. I read somewhere, that this browser doesn't support WIFI Connection.

excuse me but with the original version (without the modified exe) i can go to internet by wifi whithout problem.
It works fine

...I have replaced the .exe but I can't access to facebook!
