That's cool we have a Calculator, Leveling tool, Dictionary, PedoMeter, Rss Reader, half of a google map tool Mbars, half a office app, Several assist tools for reading cpu and temp, and a youtube app.

Now that's all we need is a conversion tool. You know something that turns dollars in pounds or euro's, pounds in Kg's etc.

Have a half a office app? what at are you talking about?

the office 2008 app that we have for M8

where can I download that? lol

look under apps here on the site. let me know if you can not find it. It should also be under using keyboard with windows.

I may create a facebook app for the M8. That is one thing I miss not having...

I have never really used any of these social networking site before. I think someone was making something simular I read on here a few months back. But, if I get it for my phone I would give it a try.

such a tool already exists! The installer is called "M8EgrConvert.cab"!

Wait a little bit...I´m translating in the moment Egconvert v1.8

or use my translation version v1.7 in the post before....

@forty7eleven I peeped the previous version it looks interesting. I will wait for the current one you are translating now. Wow we right on track.....

I would wait for the next version too. For me the currency converting does not work. After shaking i get the message that the currency data are up to date but there is no change.
As a currency converter i would recommend M8 Currency v1.1
It works great for me.

There is no exe.... to activate press the button between Phone and SMS Symbol any seconds and you will see a + sign on the lower right corner, push it and anew window pops up with all your widgets, tap it and set it on a free screen where you want.

Thanks a bunch Forty.....We may can't use a lot of the other phone apps with our phones but at least we now have a good basic group of replacements. I still use my palm for a lot of these things. I was about to give it away once I got my M8 but I am glad I did not. Now, I can look in that direction again if all these tools work well together and when you need them.

Now, the next thing we need is a calendar app that show all the holidays and stuff on you M8 phone. I see that the appointment/datebook in the calendar still is not working right. I set an appointment for 3:00PM and to remind me 30 minutes before, and it goes off several hour before then switches to AM. I hope our phone will be a true 12 and 24 hour phone.

Still, if I know I can't depend on it there is an will always be my palm (Just not as cool as my M8).
