full midi equipment on phone =D

guys i dont know if anybody is into making music here.
but i found this.

i need something like this so badly, watching this vid turns me on allready allthough its about an iphone.

is something like this possible on the m8?
im almost sure nobody will be able to programm something like this but.
asking doesnt cost me anything so ?

im a dj and use traktor with midi controls , a simple touch control app would be cool for use with fx ect.

a music sequencer app like this would be amazing on the m8

I'm a musician and a programmer.
Without having seen the video (can't currently use ssh), creating a touch to MIDI translator is dead simple. By what means is the MIDI stream sent to the synth? That'd be the only thing that requires some more thought.

If I can make my own code link with the new SDK's shared libraries (the old SDK's libraries were all stripped, don't know about the new one), I think I could write a thing like what I think is shown within some days.

(But that's a big "if". I feel more comfortable to code in Linux, so the MSVC compiled shared libraries require an import library that can be understood by the GCC.)

Visual Studio brings nmake and makefile support, vim is avaliable a gvim. i cant see a problem...

That looks pretty awesome! I tried ableton myself for a while. You can do lots of things with that!
Would be great if somebody could create it for the M8!

friend of mine got an iphone and he has "beatmaker" which is a monster of a program for a mobile phone.

but a full "midi controler" on the m8 would be soooo fucking good.

like page1 -> like "novation launchpad"
page 2 -> faders
page 3 -> x/y pad

and you can jsut switch them by sliding them away like photos.

to be honest. lately im really thinking about getting an iphone or a htc h2, becuz i can get both for 150€.
My m8 is pissing me off so hard, becuz it shuts down randomly and stuff like that. also i think the touchscreen of the iphone works better, dno why.

Guys i found a better programm.
it's called TouchOSC, also only for iphone.
u can even create your own interfaces with an editor.

I use neither Windows nor Visual Studio. Wouldn't like to use WIMP instead of my current setup, only to develop for the M8. If I run that in a VM it's not seamlessly integrated (makes a big difference when using a different "desktop methodology" than WIMP), so that is no longterm solution.

would you be able to convert an app like touchOSC to the meizum8 or win mobile 6.5?

I found a program, and works for meizu...I'm in one week back from Thailand and can send or post here in the forum...

But I don't know about you can use it with Ableton, Traktor or Cubase..

yes mhm theres a difference between a sequencer and a midi controler.
im not really excited about making some 0815 beat on my phone.
but i want to use something like this on my phone.
