Does anyone know if there is a way to show todays calendar or appointment in the locking screen in the old Ui 0.9.3.9.18 ?

No, you can´t display anything from Calendar.exe.
There are some apps, that display you notes you write on the desktop...but nothing from calendar.
This is a feature only in newUI....
