Thanked 23 Times in 11 PostsHi forty7eleven
indeed i need help from you. The installation has no complication, but after starting the tool notifies "Error while processing skin file miniOne_WVGA_V2.xml". How should the xml file be modified?
Mine looks like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<skin>
<view titleBar="Meizu M8 Phone" displayPosX="1" displayPosY="1" displayWidth="480" displayHeight="720" displayDepth="16" mappingImage="M3.PNG" normalImage="M0.PNG" downImage="M1.PNG">
<button toolTip="Power" onClick="DOWN:Key_LeftWindows Key_F10 UP:Key_LeftWindows" mappingColor="0xDA251D" />
<button toolTip="Up" onPressAndHold="0x48" mappingColor="0x00A3E4" KeyEvent="Up" />
<button toolTip="Down" onPressAndHold="0x50" mappingColor="0x84C326" KeyEvent="Down" />
<button toolTip="Home" onClick="DOWN:Key_LeftWindows Key_F9 UP:Key_LeftWindows" mappingColor="0xDD137B" />
<button toolTip="Call" onClick="DOWN:Key_LeftWindows Key_F7 UP:Key_LeftWindows" mappingColor="0x6F3198" />
<button toolTip="Play" onClick="DOWN:Key_LeftWindows Key_F8 UP:Key_LeftWindows" mappingColor="0xF8C400" />
</view>
</skin>

Hi tumi07,
you must nothing change on the XML file....the problem is the installation Path....
You have installed Chinese Language?? No ?? I think this is the problem.
You must change the name of the installation-path and from the Bat-File too....
Example: C:\Programme\Debug1\M8\1.0\M8
In the program folder is a App "Run.Bat" edit this file too,
Example:
@echo off
DeviceEmulator.exe /regserver
DvcEmuManager.exe /register
regsvr32 /s DeviceEmulatorProxy.dll
regsvr32 /s SerDMAASPlugin.dll
DeviceEmulator nk.bin /memsize 256 /flash disk.rom /s m8tools.dess /skin "C:\Programme\Debug1\M8\1.0\M8\miniOne_WVGA_V2.xml"
Save it and run...the emulator must start....
You can not test all Apps in the Emulator, the language of the FW is Chinese and have no Settings-Button...
You can save the Image and can start later when you closed the program...
To run your saved Image, you must run the App "dvcemumanager.exe"
Click to open and load your Image....
Your image is be saved in the App-Folder from the Emulator and have the Filename "m8tools.dess"
The emulator works for me a little bit slow, I have an old PC...
Hope this will help...

The next question is, how to test my own *.bin files. Is this possible?
