    Autostart for Desk Note possible?

rori has posted the app DeskNote, which is one of the most useful apps in my opinion. Thanks, rori!

It has only one problem: it does not auto-start, e.g. I have to start it manually every time I switch on my M8. Is there a way to auto-start it every time I switch on the cell phone, like an auto-start in Windows?

Also, how much energy does it consume if it is kept running in the background for the whole day?

    Hi d3lt4,
I'm not 100% sure, but you can try to create shortcut, of executable file (.EXE) where your application is installed. (normaly \Disk\Programs\filename.exe ) To obtained filename.lnk
And after you can put it in startup directory (normaly \Windows\StartUp).

Tell me if it works, and sorry for my bad english...

    Bye

    Hi pixtar

Merci for your message! :-) Meanwhile, I have found out that way myself. I tried to edit the registry settings, too, but that did not work.

The StartUp folder works, but not properly. I tried it with DeskNote and M8Dock. With DeskNote, there is an error with a certain .ini-file. With M8Dock, you have to first put the M8 in the lock mode, then unlock it, and then it works.
So for both apps it is probably easier to start them manually. :-)

Also, let's wait what we will get with FW1.0 and android, maybe an autostart option will be implemented :-)
