Asking for Stealth Recorder

Hey all,
Was Wondering if they had a program out there that you can run in the background and it records on command like maybe the program is loaded in the background and you hit the camera button or maybe i have a predetermined time i setup ahead of time... and i could set it to record in intervals of 10 min files as well as a set amount of recording before it turns itself off. and when its running it would show up beside your battery as a small "+" sign or an extra little "|" line so that only you would know what it meant and to notify you that it is running. so on and so forth. i have so many ideas i would love to be able to program but unfortunately i don't know how.
