(I have to use this thread to dump update reports because this forum has a limit of 10,000 characters which the BatMan homepage already exceeds. Please don't post any comments here so we don't spam the forum.

[Updates vom 04.02.2008] :
- (beta) automatic Avisynth detection
- (beta) automatic protocol output in case of problems
- (beta) automatic compatibility analysis for each file, best method is chosen automatically. yes, this means fire and forget !
- (beta) "dsdecode" and "s" are now obsolete
- (beta) test1-test3 in DirectShow mode now don't need to extract the whole audio stream anymore
- (beta) help files worked over
- (beta) there was a wrong aspect ratio when ripping a DVD without Avisynth installed *fixed*
- (beta) basic .mov and .qt support (Quicktime Alternative needed)
- expect the stable release very soon

- all beta features have been tested and are now in the stable version
- all video bitrates have been reworked, there is a new rate control
- finally fixed the pixelization problem with some scene changes and with sharpenx
- Q5 now only requires a single pass

- (beta) new device mode "PC" turns BatMan into a practical general purpose video converter for PC or standalone players
- (beta) video bitrates now change dynamically with each device, all bitrates have been reworked to reflect the capacities of different players

wie kann ich herausfinden wo mein Zielverzeichnis ist, also wo werden die videos gespeichert??
