BatMan - einfache Stapelverarbeitung für MEncoder

Hi there,
First of all, Bobby Q, thnx for creating this programme! It's excellent for people like me (who don't understand a thing about converting :P)...I've just got one problem I can't solve: When I put my .avi files on my meizu (M6), I can see my movie, but it's very small (only the middle of my screen, there are black barres on every side of the screen)...I've tried FULLSCREEN and WIDE, but it doesn't make any sense...Can you help me?

Hi, I think your original movie file has the same problem .. whoever made this rip has encoded the black bars together with the film.
All you can do now is to crop the black bars of the original movie with an appropriate program, like Virtualdub. But since you said that you're not into technical things too much, you should either involve somebody who does - or live with it like it is. BatMan does not correct this kind of problem because it seldomly happens.

Well, the weird thing is that I ripped it from an original DVD...maybe I did the black-bar-thing myself, but I'm not aware of it...anyway, I guess I have to live with it then :P

if you have the original DVD, you can directly rip the DVD with BatMan, and the black bars are history if you set to "fullscreen".

didn't I discuss that in depth with you via private message ?
Converting .swf is very difficult and even all the special programs I have tested were difficult to use and took long to convert.
I see no technical way to do it with BatMan at the moment.
And the test file you sent to me contained no video stream.
To solve your problem, look for a professional swf conversion software, make the video file of your choice with it, and convert that with BatMan.

also ich hab immer noch das problem mit dem weiterspulen bei vielen filmen. wenn ich mit dem MZ converter umwander hab ich das beim gleichen film nicht. aber das hatte ich ja schonmal geschrieben.
der tipp mit vorlauf lange gedrückt halten klappt aber auch nicht - der kriegt sich nicht ein wenn ich spulen will - wie gesagt - wirre zeichen bei der zeitanzeige....
vielleicht kriegst du das ja noch hin....

BobbyQ, Here is the sample of the original .avi file but it may not be much help as it converts without problem so it may just be an fault with the original file. The other thing I noticed when I tried the conversion the second time was the following error message on the second and third pass:

you name the problem on your own. I cannot say more without the original file, as I mentioned before.

das ist wirklich eigenartig. Hast du es denn schon mit BatMan's "repair" probiert ?

das ist noch viel eigenartiger ! Was passiert denn genau, wenn du >>| gedrückt hältst, und zwar konsequent ? Nicht schon nach 10 Sekunden aufhören, das dauert manchmal auch 20 Sekunden bis es klappt.
Ich hatte bisher noch nie einen Film, bei dem es nicht geklappt hätte.
Also wenn repair nicht hilft und das drücken auch nicht, dann mußt du mir den Original Film schicken, den du da zu konvertieren versuchst.

Wenn ich Videos mit Batman konvertiere hab ich keinen Ton mehr?:eek:
Hat jemand eine Lösung parat? Oder was könnte ich falsch gemacht ahebn?
Ich hab die Files in das batman logo gezogen und dann zB 3 oder X eingegeben. Wird der Ton vll. erst nachträglich eingefügt? hab nämlich nache dem ersten Teil meiner Videos dann abgebrochen als ich nichts gehört habe...

Der Ton kommt aus Performancegrunden nur im letzten Durchlauf, also wenn du beispielsweise Q3 wählst, dann im zweiten Durchlauf. Das Endergebnis sollte IMMER Ton haben !

was meinst du mit dem erstem Teil ? Du hast BatMan während des Konvertierens beendet oder meinst du eine Folge einer Fernsehserie ?

Falls es dir möglich ist, mir so einen Originalfilm zugänglich zu machen (ftp, filehosting, torrent etc..), könnte ich mir das mal genauer ansehen.

habs geschafft, musste nur länger laufen lassen. Nur jetzt frag ich mich, wie ich die balken oben und unten hinbekomme, so dass ich das ganze Bild sehe...:D

indem du den Zoom Modus auf Breitbild stellst. Lies mal dazu die Hilfe, die du mit "?" aufrufst.

NEW :
- complete rewrite of the file handling. It is now possible to use any combination of files/folders/subfolders for processing. This is also a nice way to circumvent the character limitation of windows cmd parameters (see BatMan help 1.1). Now also works with "A" (process all profiles) command.

If you select multiple .vob files, they will be handled like normal video files (no stream selection then), so you can better convert them one by one, just like before.

also mit repair hab ich das nich nicht versucht.
wenn ich lange gedrückt halte passiert folgendes:
bei manchen filmen gar nix - also das bild bleibr so wie es ist, und die zeitanzeige unten überschlägt sich.
oder der film spult ruckartig - also direkt ne viertel oder ne halbe stunde auf einmal weiter - was natürlich auch nicht besonders hilfreich ist....

jaja so sieht das also aus.....
achja - wenn ich während des spulens loslasse, und der film hat noch nicht weitergespult, springt der meizu in den ordner mit den filmen zurück - also beendet die wiedergabe.....

das hab ich bei etwa 50% meiner umgewandelten filme - die vorlagen sind meistens irgendwelche avis oder mpegs

komisch, das passiert mir bei höchstens bei 2% der Filme. Aber dafür ist ja die repair-Funktion da. Die sollte es richten können. Probier doch mal und sag uns Bescheid.

Yesterday's version had a small bug with a big effect : DVD ripping didn't work at all, program got terminated. This happened due to the total rewrite of the file-handling. Sorry about that, the new version is working again !
