Hi flore_327 !
Du hast da einen fiesen Bug gefunden. Bin aber gerade beim Testen zufällig drüber gestolpert : wenn man Videos aus einem Verzeichnispfad rüberzieht, der Leerzeichen enthält, ging es ab in den Keller mit dem ganzen Programm.
Habe das gerade behoben, bitte neue Version holen, dann sollte es klappen !

Darn ! You're right, I must have done something wrong ... SORRY I try to fix that as soon as possible.

fixed ! That was a major problem with the index rebuilding. Load the new version.

I've downloaded the latest version but now there is an other problem .. I starts converting like it should, but when it's finished it somehow deletes the output immediatly .. I can see it the file right after it is finished , then it flashes for a second and disappears !! I did not have the problem before ..

Maybe it's a Vista problem ... Would it be possible to put in a logfile ? So that I can see afterwards what went wrong ? Because I can't see any error messages now it's very hard to solve the prooblem if it is Vista related..

edit: i did a little more testing and it has to do with the shutdown option ...
what do I have to fill in there when I do not want my pc to shutdown ?? Funny thing is when I leave the option blank and just press enter .. It does not save de converted file, the screen just flashes batman shuts down and I have the above problem. When i type in the word : save after the sentence "after processing do this <shutdown> it does save the converted file , but batman keeps open and start processing the file again ...

Yes, that was another bug. *fixed*

When you are prompted for "after processing do this", you can either hit enter or type "shutdown" (more commands in working progress). To make this clear, I have changed the text.

Hab genau das gleiche Problem wie der Herr über mir!

Wenn man bei shutdown Option nur mit Enter bestätigt ohne eingabe erstellt BatMan zwar die beiden "pass.avi" dateien im Verzeichniss der Original video datei, die verschwinden aber bei beendigung des Programmes.

Wenn man irgend einen Nonsense eintippt bleiben die "pass.avi" einfach erhalten, so wie sie sind.

Mit eingabe von "Shutdown" hab ich es noch nicht probiert.

Noch was: meinst du du könntest das Programm dahin gehend verbessern, dass es sich auch von anderen Verzeichnissen als "C:\Programme\..." aus aufrufen lässt? wenn man ein Beliebiges verzeichniss wählt, erhält man eine Fehlermeldung von mencoder...

Nach der ganzen Kritik noch ein ganz großes Lob, das Programm ist klasse... muss endlich nicht mehr immer in VDub rumfummeln... Danke dafür

BatMan installiert sich automatisch in deinen Standard-Programmordner, wo immer der auch liegt. Das muß leider auch so bleiben, weil es ja kein "richtiges" Programm ist .. BatMan schreibt sich in keine Registry. Es ist eine einfache Batchdatei

Läuft alles wieder bestens.

Gestern war ich völlig ratlos beim umwandeln einer dvd , bis sich das mit der "buggy"- version rausgestellt hat.

Vielen dank für die schnelle umsetzung der 'shutdown'-option.

Mir ist zugespielt worden, daß BatMan auch unter Vista läuft Heureka .. obwohl ich Vista genauso verabscheue wie damals WindowsME ("multiple errors").

Beim Testen ist mir aufgefallen, daß das "custom profile" bei Bitraten <150 sehr pixelig wird. Das lag daran, daß ich die Bitratenbegrenzung gleich der Durchschnittsbitrate gesetzt habe.
Habe Abhilfe geschaffen, indem man die Begrenzung im "custom profile" jetzt auch selber einstellen kann.

I thought you alreayd knew it worked on Vista.. I've been using it on Vista almost right from the first version you released .. Sometimes I have some strange behaviour .. but that can also be because of a new version of Batman ...
