lost password

I have a 8gb M8. After about a week out of the country, I can't remeber my M8's password. IS there a way to recover the password or reset it?

Do you mean the PIN code? If so, there are a way where you can call your operator and get a PUK code so you can change the PIN.
If it's a password to a folder or something, you can simply reinstall or upgrade to another firmware..

I'm not sure about this, but I believe that I read somewhere that the M8 stores the PIN code in the registry? So if you could access the phone registry you might be able to find it.. But I don't know anything about that.
