    My Screen finally dead - plan send M8 back to meizu

    My M8 touch panel finally near to dead, only 25% of panel is responding, i try many way to clean antistatic, use tape, antistatic wire, antistatic wrap .... my m8 touch panel not respone any more... now only managed take call using M button, cant write sms or event make call ...


    so i plan send back to china Meizu factory, and try swap to M8se, i not sure will success or not, not sure will block by custom or not, abit worry here.
    any mamber here have screen problem thinking send back to China ?

    not having TS issue´s but mine is back in china for the moment.
    google translate this dutch link to find out my current experience while shipping back to china .

    short resumé :
    *sending from Belgium to China took +-3 days and costed about 20 € with tracking/packaging/.. but got delayed due chinese holiday on 1/10/09.
    *i added a proforma with value of 1 € (4 copies of it) on the outer side of the package with remark shipping back for repair, to get easier passed the customs in china.
    *contacted the reseller and meizu to inform the shipping back to factory

    Currently i am awaiting feedback from the reseller cause they mentionned a free swap (without shipping cost ofcourse) and i requested a free swap to SE.

    my screen dosent work too..some days ago it was perfect. now only half of the screen is working. do they really swap than for free.

    Touchscreen issue here too, electric tape is my last hope and otherwise it goes back to the seller (though I have to pay shipping costs in BOTH ways, to and from Holland!)...

    the costs are do-able,
    from belgium to china and back it costs me a 40 euro´s with tracking + packaging.
    However i think there will be an other custom fee to 'import' again... for about 10 euro!

    btw i thought we have the same reseller, they just swap it with their supplier, so we do not need to wait for a return to Meizu their factory!

    my screen started working again. perfectly. but today just randomly become buggy. when i clicked something jumped all over the screen and after some restarts half of the screen dosent work again. anyhow ill try to install new firmware.

    but when this dosent work how do i even contact meizu factory?

    Hendrikk,

    look here !

    The way you want to contact them;
    first contact your reseller, then Meizu.

    You will need imei and serial number while contacting meizu.
    btw i woul nod mention you are an overseas user...
