    Problem with MeizuM8

Hi, I've had my Meizu M8 for some months now, around 20th. June.

Well, it worked great, but something with the software has bugged so I can't play music on the speakers, it's just quiet. But speakers works, because I can use the alarm, and the call.

When I plug in a headset it's either just drums and guitar with bad quality, or really really really low, and only on the left ear.

It's quite annoying as it's a good phone except that the music is bugged.

I'll install a new firmware now.

Something else that's quite strange, is that it was not supposed to be WiFi on my phone, but yes, I have WiFi D:

And also, I can't figure out how I can zoom with the camera D:

I had a similar problem... my M8 had the same bad audio quality when I plugged in my phones... it turned out to be a hardware problem so I got it replaced.

I am dubious now about plugging in headphones direct to the M8, so i got a bluetooth headphone set. You might find that if u use pluetooth to listen to ur music, u will get better quality as the 3.5 audio jack might be damaged (not to mention the freedom BT audio headset will give you).

    I use Koss Porta Pro.

So it is hardware? I thought about the jack wasn't good enough, but it works when I plug in speakers to the phone, but not with headset.

And the built-in speakers doesn't work at playing music with the musicplayer.

I just installed a new firmware, same problem.

maybe there are something wrong with you headphone, change a headphone and try again.
then, i advised you to install the new firmware, 9.37. wating for the new UI.

i can figure out the problem, when you open the camera, press Volume Buttom, then, press "+"buttom to change the model, then you can find then function.

The flash means a quick picture
Put the flash option 'on' (the flash-icon will be brighter when you enable it)

Since we, M8 owners, are actually not possible to get 3 Megapixel photo's taken in the dark, Meizu developed a quick 'flash', so we can.

You can make pictures in the dark of course, but you may notice that the reaction is really, really, really slow.

I think they did a good job with the camera
Unfortunately it is not pleasant to hold the camera for 5 seconds until the picture is taken. (dark environments only)

So now you know what it can do, and why we have such an option
