Meizu M8 Doesn't Work In The United States?

I recently found out about the Meizu M8 and I was about to buy one off of eBay today when I noticed it said that it would not work in the U.S. Can anyone confirm this? I messaged the seller but haven't recieved a response.

Seller said it does work in the U.S. but my carrier needs to support GSM 900/1800 GHz.

Does T-Mobile USA support GSM 900/1800 GHz?

Mine works. I have had it for a month in a half now. Popped my sim out of my old phone and bam. Did some searches for sights like this one and everything is cool. MMs still not great yet but you can do some things on this phone that are great, like blocking numbers.

I have a 16gb M8 smart phone.

when i went to the states this summer mine performed as well in the states as it did in the uk. Its listed as dual band so it dosnt have to pass as many tests but really its quad band.

T Mobile is 850/1900 GHz, but the M8 is a quad-band phone and will work with all US GSM carriers.

no one in the americas supports 90/1800 it is a european frequency! but this phone has all bands! 850/900/1800/1900 so it will work here. i am using it in canada nad it works perfectly!

actually T Mobile is 1900 Mhz only! at&t cingular are 850/1900 Mhz.

I am on TMo... and it works just fine...
The Question you should be asking... IS IT Worth it???
Let me tell you.. If you are not a Techie... DO NOT buy this phone... This is a Geek Phone...

Why not? Looks easy to use.

firmware in Beta stadium...
Lots of apps that are not realy translated and have partial chineese output...
necessity to modify the registry to send/recive MMS...
and loads of tweaking and tinkering all around.

a few more days have passed and this is by far! the best phone i have ever had still!!!

919263 has had the misfortune of have almost all the problems that a M8 could have :S...I think it's normal that he had that opinion.
In my case, my M8 works good, but yes, there are many annoying bugs that makes M8 not as good as it should.
Anyway, I'm glad with my M8

i c, well my friend i have had over 200 phoens in the last 2 years. i can nto name u one that had no glitch or bug! all in all as a package meanign size, price, battery life, music, speed etc. the m8 is the best phone i owned so far! i am very very glad with my m8 and hope mine keeps on giving me no problems!
