M8 Doesn't turn on anymore

my m8 went in the bin a long time ago. first the antenna burnt out, then part of the screen stopped working and the it wouldnt turn on all together.

it lasted me just under a year. not the best phone i have had for build quality but the specs where good at the time. lets hope they can improve some of the issues they had with components this time around with the m9.

dont go hating on me about saying meizu phones break as you only have to look through all the forum to see that the majority of posts are about faults with the m8. just speaking the truth.

if the m8 was built with quality parts then it would of cost more

did you also try to pull out the battery for about 24 hours - replace it and booted it again?
This trick worked for me in the past.

@lewis, to be honest you are right; Meizu phones break often unfortunately.
Let´s hope it´s a lesson learned for meizu so the m9 doesn´t have this.

evow04, tried that a couple of times now, doesn't work. Contacted Meizu, and they say i can ship it back to shanghai (where it was purchased) and they'll repair it. But since I'm EU-based, that will cost quit a bit

Little upgrade on the progress, managed to install android on my bricked M8, so I can still use the phone properly (now i know it isn't a hardware fault). Tried to reinstall the original firmware with a couple of versions, and it still hangs on the Meizu screen. Somebody has other suggestions that could fix Mmobile and make it work again?
