Hey all, just came back from CANCUN!!!! had the best time i must say, and i took some pictures with my phone. Now i put them on my computer and i tried rotating them with windows photo gallery and its giving me an error when i try to save it. then norton opens up and says Blood.Hound.Exploit.13 tried attacking my computer and it has been blocked and everything is secure.
SO, every picture i have taken with this camera has a virus attached to it. How do i prevent this from happening ? i really DONT want to loose the pictures i have taken with my M8.
Thanks.
Ciao.

They're just likely to be false positives, try uploading an image to VirusTotal and it'll check the file through several anti-virus softwares.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostMaybe because the photo is still somehow related to the thumbnail picture in the mobile, and can’t be rotate because the thumbnail is not rotated? Just a guess, because I have the same problem, but without virus (using windows vista) Is it something what can be changed in a new firmware?

Thanked 189 Times in 130 Postsi never use an antivirus, and never had a problemNorton is a problem!!!
oh well i just remembered once i had a problem years ago with my intel 386 pc, it was infected by a stupid bootsector virus
rotating pictures on your pc has nothing to do with the firmware on your m8 device. Is it something what can be changed in a new firmware?
You could try tools like gimp, an adobe package ,...
But if you mean flipping them on the meizu itself, you could always try to delete the thumbnails and check if the pictures are not write protected / in use ?
