meizu m8 chinese icons

i got my m8 and some of the icons are in chinese even though the phone is set to english.

Icons are images and not words.

Get hold of a program called M8 Sprite - you can use that to change the labels on your M8 desktop to anything you want. It's available in the Downloads section on this site.

M8 Sprite is installed on the phone along with something called M8 dock and Modeskto. i think i saw m8 dock on youtube and it looks cool.
how do i use m8 sprite to change icons? and arent the specific icons on the phone for chinese software? can iuse m8 sprite to delte them? or can i delete them through my computer?

M8sprite is a program/icon manager..

Before randomly deleting desktop icons (via 'Desktop' in M8Sprite)...if you want to delete the actual Chinese software programs [like unwanted games or appz], first use the 'Programs' option in M8Sprite to view the programs installed on ur device and then to uninstall those that are unwanted.

This should also remove the assosciated icons on your desktop.

If you uninstall programs via M8Sprite and icons still remain on the desktop..there is an option in 'Desktop/More' to remove invalid icons from your desktop.

Another hint... i sometimes find that on uninstalling some games or appz thru Sprite, the folders still remain in the root directory.. so it might be neccessary to manually delete these folders.

i just cleared the registry on my m8 and it is in chinese! how do i set it back to english?! searched everywhere cand
