Ah, the Meizu M8. Undoubtedly the funnest smartphone ever to talk about, though based on shipping success rates, it’s probably not the phone to order if you actually value the whole “getting what you paid for” thing. Dodgy ownership aside, we’ve been waiting for Google’s own mobile operating system to splash down on the M8 since June, and if the video seen down there in the read link is to be believed, said scenario has finally become reality. All we’re shown are a few swiping motions, but when you’re talking Meizu, that’s all you really need to believe.

and as for me i do think it is fake once again.

    Btw ,
i am starting to wonder if meizu would ever launch an (official) android build for m8.
It will be a huge risk to delete the bootloader, to overwite it with uboot so it can run android.

They risk a lot of rma requests if it goes wrong.

New one, this time a little longer video, and a little better quality

Video processing should be finished soon...

just noticed the topic on bbs to.

But i am still thinking it is a fake,
why wouldnt there be any testing roms be available or any mod in the bootloader to download :s

And it seems that there is also nowhere any confirmation

    edit:
just wondering why we see never the bootup proces of m8 that load android

could be fake, again i can not see the M8 as a standalone device that starts android from putting the battery in to turning it off....
It is just not believable since we do not know whether the video is edited or not....

    True ,
as long that they do not show the boot process i can not believe it.
How it looks now it could be just a movie playing.
On the other side, it could be true , cause in the bbs i see remarks from people who are specialized in rebuilding devices to android versions.

But that whould sound strange again cause when i requested a fair for rebuilding it was not that cheap to pay as individual.
(and that was without hardware devices)

Since China is very good in creating fake mobiles(hiphone, sciphone, ifone, myphone etc.), people can be easily get faked, that is why i don't trust such a video....
I want a bin file that i can test, or at least some procedure to get android running....
