Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHi there, seeing that Meizu barely supports the english language which is by far the major standard worldwide either as primary or secondary language you can imagine that Arabic is probably the furthest thing on thier mind.
I have a M8 in Dubai since last December (i'm not Arab) and i can tell you that the phone is not worth it - yes, the fan boys will claim it can play all formats and is not tied to apple - but plenty of devices can do that now. The next best thing is screen resolution (i guess) but that can only go so far, unless you are watching properly formatted videos the majority of the time...
As a phone it is seriously lacking and uses mobile telephony hardware that is last generation (no 3g), and the compatibility with local networks is dodgy.
As a smartphone it is barely useable.
In my opinion, unless you are someone who likes to experiment with technology and have the patience and free time to spend on this device then just buy a regular mainstream phone. As someone pointed out a while back in a different thread, the M8 compares barely to the 1st generation iphone which can be had for cheaper than the M8 - even a 1st generation HTC Touch Diamond or Touch HD are better options.
If you still want to get the M8 then you can ask the few people who have managed to change languages on thier phones (such as Russian, Thai, various West European) how they did it... but, as far as making other cabs work on the phone that is a hit or miss thing, some work some dont.
