Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostThe wifi is usually locked when you recieve the phone, and always after you update the firmware. It needs to be 'cracked' so that you can make use of wifi.

Thanked 10 Times in 7 PostsJust the test version have the wifi, so, because the official version doesnt have wifi, the firmware doesnt show any wifi setting. If you have a test version you can then crack the firmware and enable edge and wifi by Msprite, a tool for m8 that let you change lot of settings of your m8.

btw i dont have the newest m8 se or m9 or any newer meizu's i have an older model
but i also reside in china now for 4 years
