Where to put the backup-files?

I need some help please!

I just upgraded my M8 to the latest firmware and just finished to reinstall all of my apps ... put I just can't figure out where to put my backup-files!
I've of course found the Backup-folder on "Disk", but I don't know in which folder or dir I should copy e.g. the backup of my contacts, so that i can use them again...

I've read the FAQs, but they don't answer my question .. same with search function. My problem is, that I don't know where the original directory of the contacts folder is located. I've already made a backup of my contacts, but I'm not sure where to copy it.

Ah, okay! I solved the problem! I didn't know that there is a restore function in the system menu
