Unknown Caller´s

can anybody tell me why I can´t see, which person is calling me only when they are using sellphones?

I can only read "another number" and the telefon number but no name.

But when they called me from a normal phone I can see who s calling me.
Th name the picture etc..

In deutsch: kann mir jemand sagen, warum bei mir nur Festnetzanrufer mit Namen und hinterlegtem Bild zu sehen sind, Handyanrufer hingegen erscheinen nur mit "another number" kein bild nix...

Weis da jemand Abhilfe?

maybe because the M8 is not designed to be a super "phone" it mostly focuses on the Smart part of "smart Phone"
caller id comes up for your contacts.
Besides, you can't expect a picture or name.

Make sure the format you're storing the telephone numbers are the same as when you get a call from those "Other numbers". For example if you store a number like this: +12345678 and you get a call from 12345678 it won't show up. In the latest leaked firmwares this issue seems to be solved, so wait until Monday for the next official firmware release and see if it takes care of this problem.

i saved my contacts like this:

for mobile numbers: +49170123456789
and for home/fixed network numbers: 06212123456

and this works for me perfectly

german: Du musst deine Handynummern mit +49 speichern, und deine normalen festnetznummern mit einer 0 vornedran.

habe ich von Anfang an gemacht. witziger weiser erkennt mein Phone die anderen Teilnehmer wenn sie SMS schicken nur nicht wenn sie mit dem handy anrufen...
