    AntiVirus - AppCheck

Me and some others thinking about upcoming problems. What will happen if some haters create bad apps that will cause serious problems or damaging the system?!
What happens if there will be a virus for the M8 ?

Do you ever thought about programs like an "AppCheck" that proofs an App during or better before its installation?

Or an AntiVirus Program whilst surfing the net? I have a good one on my PC but nothing on my M8 and i would never go online with my PC without any good protection...

    Hello.
    Maybe it will be naccesary
to load Apps, or what else, down and check them with some anti-Vir Prog on your PC.
And if you are unshure: dont install it.

this is what i do everytime. but no antivirus will notice that an app wants to format your disc, delete files or crash your speaker or what ever...

Don't think you can write apps with the SDK that formats your phone or delete any important files. And to crash a speaker a virus is not enough

Personally, I really don't care as of yet since it seems nobody really cares enough to seriously hack into any type of mobile device yet, but this may change in the future.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEWS LATELY,
most people go for mobile smart phones because people have their important stuff on it. Iphone has bank apps, info, and pictures.
M8 has M8 cash, wifi, and pictures as well
people have suicided over this stuff.
Would explain the "stuff", but would get banned
An anti-virus is a pretty serious app. Would be a key app for surfing the WEB.
    probably most viruses there.
    people get your pictures,
    take your face,
i cant say the rest, but it is bad...

    SNOOP
i think this is a key app,
    your not alone,

Yes, I do know about the sensitive information that some people may store on their mobile devices, but there's been no report of a serious breach yet. When something actually happens, then I'll care. Personally, I don't store much personal information on my mobile device, just contacts, so I could care less.

Its not likely that someone will breach your M8. I didn't say it was not possible, but hackers (if there were any) would be more focused on iPhones, Blackberrys and WinMo than some small modified WinCE platform.
