Why in the Hell Meizu factory simply does not sell it touchscreen spare part to their customers???


Why they sold those Malfunctioned(bad shaped) M8's to everyone???

hey guys,
yesterday my touchscreen doesn't respond fine again.
So i tried the lightertrick as usually, but without success.
I think the sparks are smaller than before, maybe that was the reson.

After a while testing i saw a hair of my cat bonding on the display.
One can see its really the electrostatic attraction.

Then I thought, why should I use electric tape or the lighter trick to discharge it? It might be easier!

I just lay the phone with the display down on a metal surface, the cover of my PC, and let it there for a while.
Actually the M8 works fine after that.

holy crap, why didn't you tell me that some days ago. I would have tried that before sending my M8 to china
maybe I get complete new M8 and the trouble was worth it.

was your pc on or off?is this not bad for the pc componentry?

lucky you, my meizu is still in China, FOR THREE MONTHS NOW...

Actually the M8 works fine after that.

mmm interesting! you just remembered me that is usual, before touch the disks when you assemble/disassemble a pc, to discharge the electrostatic charge of the hands by touching the frame of the chassis! let's try it! I'll let you know!

No PC was off and the cover wasn't connected to the PC it was just the metal what disscharged the phone.
But there is no danger for the PC because all metal parts should be connected with the earth wire. All charges go to earth, so no problem.

I think i have the problem with my phone cause of my sofa. You often get a jolt, when sitting on it

On the cover of the pc I got no results... maybe because is painted?

Anyone got back their actual M8 after repairing the screen functionality? Can you give us any detail on what has changed? Did you got a new screen or what?

my meizu is been in china since 4'th of feb and i now know for sure that the ebay store is trying to rip me off. any suggestions?

how can you be so sure? 4th febraury so 6 weeks since. thats pretty normal. I'm calculating with 3 months.
Maybe you can send me a message if you don't want to write the name of the ebay shop here

remove the cover and use the inside of the cover!

after 1,5 month i get my phone back but it was not my phone i get a brand new se for my old fe version so dont be in panic.
U send your phone in china holidays so mabe in 4 weeks u will get a new phone just wait !

My phone has arrived in China on February 12. The thing that worried me was: the tracker showed it has been delivered, but the dealer said he hadn't received it. So I started an official enquiry with my post office, and after three weeks they told me it has been delivered. It has probably been stuck because of Chinese New Year.
Anyway, I hope I will get the M8 back soon, I am tired of using a Nokia :-)

same here, sent out my meizu before christmas, and its still gone tired from waitting till it will show up and bought new one... going to get it tomorrow

nobody got back a repaired one? so I assume that everyone get a complete new M8, after sending it in for repair. It seems like meizu isn't repairing them, but changing the whole phone. Looks like there is something wrong with the first model (hardware 1.0).

I asked in the postal office that when it was delivered and the final delivery was 28 of feb. the ebay store doesnt respond to my emails so i made a fake ebay account and asked them random thing and thay answered right away. i think thats said it all..
