Video on the M8

Just got my new 16gb m8..
Can anyone tell me what format is best to play for video.
I tried loading some mp4 movies onto the device by simple drag n drop into the VIDEOS folder from my pc... but when i go to play it.. it doesnt appear, and apon hitting the 'refresh' button I can see its there... but stuck at like 50% processing.
Any ideas?

This must be the problem of the video you have copied to your M8.
I have some wmv files, and they work out pretty well.
If you want a movie with subtitles, you can copy only a AVI file with a sub or srt file

If it keeps getting stuck at 50%(or x%), then delete all the files inside the video folder and copy brand new video files.
