Meizu M8 Sound

Hello everyone
This is my first thread over MeizuMe so if it's a wrong section please move it to the correct section admin/Mod.

Back to the thread title,I have just gotten M8 a few day ago and before owning M8 i have own Meizu M6 and Samsung Innov8 and currently still owning.

So before buying the M8 i thought it would have the same sound as M6 but i was wrong, The M6 have a lot more bass compare to the M8, can this problem be cure with FW update? Another this is, can anyone give me some custom setting of M8 EQ which produce the best sound with bass?

But overall it is a nice phone, except for the sound

P.S I am paring my M8 with Crossroad MylarOne Bijou 3 Earphone

Is there anyone that can help me out?

Which FW do you use currently? Personally my EQ is disabled so I can't help you with that. I have my bass value at 2, and I find it enough.

There is a tutorial to set your music EQ good, but i cannot find it right now. Maybe you have upgrade the latest FW. They have change/fix the bass once. When have found the tut i will post it for you. Even i think that you have to use other earphones, the meizu earphones are quite good only i put my bass to a higher level.

Thanks, i appreciate your help. But it seem like the above link lead me to BBS front page.

I have the EQ set to 'Rock', cause I think it sounds better. I also have the bass set to 2.
I'm satisfied with the quality while using the Meizu earphones.

If you find the Bass weak, just tune all other frequencies down in the Custom EQ. Then just put the bass boost up.

Tune down the frequencies to 0 or -12?
but when i tune it to -12 the volume it too slow even on 100%.

I think he mean 0, at least I would not place them below that if you missing bass. (btw all bars set down to 12 make no really sense)
The first two bars mainly control the bass. You should place the first high and the next one just below (depending what your ears tells you where it need to be)
Then you can mix it up bass boost to give it more if you want. Usually a good combination with the M6.
Still M8 is known for not having the same sound. I’m not owner of both so cannot compare.
