Microphone volume level?
hey there...
people are complaining that I'm hardly to understand when I'm calling them on my M8. But actually I'm talking very loud. I've tried to hold the phone in a different way and so on, but nothing helps. Signal strength is good, that should not be the problem. I'm on the German provider O2.
The microphone level in the Recorder-Program is very good... so the Mic should be OK.
Is it possible - maybe in the Windows registry? - to adjust the mic level? In Windows XP there is a function called "Mic Gain"... is there something similar in WinCE? Or is it possible to modify this in the Meizu OS?
Thanks,
Jascha
edit:
I've found something using the Registry Editor from M8Fans.com:
Maybe it's the "GsmOutVolume"-entry? ...I'll try it...[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\DialParameter]

Till now, no luck...
Actually, I think the changes did not really have an effect...
I tested the key:
"GsmOutVolume"=
"SpeakerVolume"=
"ReceiveVolume"=
with different entries... but no effect.
After a restart or a phonecall the "ReceiveVolume"-key is always automatically set to 0000000F --> 15 and the "SpeakerVolume"-key is set to 0000000B --> 11, maybe that's the maximum.
I also tried to make changes to the entries HKLM \ Drivers \ BuiltIn \ Audio, but no markable effect.

i'm not sure, but it seems to me that it's slightly better with the current firmware...but not as good as it should be.
