Hi
I have been wondering whether to buy the M8 for a while and I just decided I would, when Toshiba release the TG01. Does anyone have an opinion on which I should go for. Disadvantage for me is the 24month contract with Orange. Ideas anyone please? Oh and does anyone have any information good or bad about the Fox Twenty website? Thanks

Thanked 189 Times in 130 Postsbuy m8,
tg01 has a fast cpu but how will it drain the battery?
The os has an ugly ui aswel with the scrolling bars,
and toshiba isnt that good in making quality phones.
Take value for the money: m8 is good for its price,
and by the time you will be bored with youre m8 a 1 ghz cpu could be a standard in pda phones.
;-)
ps: thats why i decided not to wait on samsung galaxy or tg01

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsI simply love my M8, i use it every day, and it never gets me bored. Its always fun to use, and it is developing fast.
Be sure to buy one WITH Wi-Fi. Because it makes the phone a lot nicer
I also thought of the HTC Touch HD and HTC Touch Diamond, but those phones just aren't that nice compared to the M8.
And above all, its way cheaper than the iphone/iphone 3g/iphone 3gs. And it uses the same touch screen, capacitive, so you don't ever need to use a stylus. And i have to say, a stylus breaks very fast

hey man, we are in the same boat!
one of the reason i joined meizu me was because it was my best bet to get quality info! I can finnally advise someone with my year+ research.
1) Meizu m8 is by far one of the best phones i have ever seen.
2) (APPLE SUCKS COMPARED TO THIS!)
3) ***** is a nice site. however they may be cheap, there is a better place. i considered ***** myself, and there is only one thing that is holding me back.
4) ***** is also selling cheap ($339 for 8gb and $419 for 16gb) they offer free shipping (airmail) for every product.
5) ***** and ebay= best place for accessories!
6) this depends where you live (continent wise ex. U.S. or France etc.) ***** i know for sure sells quad band, which works anywhere in the world. *****, i don't know. Some people are saying all m8 are quad band and meizu is just saying it is dual band (which only works in europe, asia, and some parts of southern america). If somebody will confim this for you, then by all means get the one on *****.
#6 doesn't mean a thing to you if you live in europe or asia. If you live in the U.S. like me, then pay close attention to #6.
One last thing, if you do get the meizu m8 from ***** then can you tell me if it is quad band?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postswell im late with a response but i would have chose another phone. m8 is cool but is the most boring phone i ever owned due to lack of apps and worst browser on a smartphone. if u want a phone with great video and music playback then the m8 is probably the best choice for that.

Thanked 3 Times in 3 PostsI can see I am going to have fun modding this phone. It seems like there is a lot to learn about it. I guess first step is updating the firmare.
