Is there some sort of trick to click links in the web browser?

Hi i was wondering what is the correct way to click on a link when I'm using the web browser. If i tap a link the phone just zooms in, and if i press on a link a black box with the the links web address pops up.

Double-tap for zooming, single tap for clicking. If you hold your finger on one of the links the web address will pop up.

Thanks, I figured out my problem. My wifi was slow because I was downloading torrents on my pc.
