    Wrong button labels?

    Hi all,

Has anyone had an issue where the buttons are mislabeled on their M8?
I uploaded the 0901 14/6 FW, and since then I have noticed some buttons are mislabeled.

    Example:
In a phone call, the big "END" button, is now labeled "MUTE" but actually still performs as end call. That whole screen is actually mislabeled. A few other places where similar have happened (Backup button is called something else unrelated also).

    Odd.....

You have installed my corrected MUI files, haven't you?

Pretty sure I didn't (as you mentioned in another thread that you were pretty sure they wouldn't work on 0910 FW).
But I might have done by accident maybe (as it is one of the CAB files I keep in my disk folder as backup for FW updates).

You think that is the reason? I also never cleared the registry before updating FW from 0905 release, so it might be something there also.

No biggy though. I can fix myself if needed in the affected MUI files (only a few labels that were affected). Just wasn't sure if it was something others had noticed or it was something i missed when updating the FW - as it was my first time doing a FW update on the M8.

I think you have installed it by accident then. Registry reset is not necessary before updating firmware as the install process will take care of it. Now would be a good time to do it if you want to get rid of the files though
