J.Wong just reply on androind and Win ce

MyMobile system base on Win CE already fully utilize our manpower and resources, just need a bit more time the system will be stabilize, and common application like QQ and Office very soon will be finalize, plus Microsoft continue provide more and more resources to support, so our advantage still very clearly.

why i also hoping to develop meizu MyMobile system in android? main reason is it is free and open source. meizu will not directly use android system, just want to develop our myMobile system in android, this system now compare to current system actually no any advantage,
Win ce will become charge OS, so will getting more support (from Microsoft), i estimate future Win Ce and WM alot API will be same, resources will be rich .. (note: MS provide free Wince to meizu without license fee)

But due to smartphone price getting cheaper and cheaper, Win CE authorize fees in part of product cost will be higher and higher , if we have other choice our negotiation on authorize fee (with MS) will be advantage and more voice power.
due to our power and ability continue getting stronger, more open source system also provide advantage to as to further study in deep level of system

So basically it's still hard to say whether or not Android will come to the M8?

is hard for android come to M8, due to android use java but Wince use C++ to develop application, so android have weak performance in multimedia performance which main advantage for m8.

it can be done i just think he is saying that ce will cost money and android is open source so worse case scenario they could go open source if need be. thanks for the news and translation.

I think he's saying that ce won't cost money if they have the option of moving to android to use as leverage on ms.

And windows 7?

One of the causes of that Meizu not eliga Android, is not is opened, the fact is that he wants support on the part of someone. It is possible that he wants that Google of support but there is a series of conditions .... or the fact is that Meizu has signed an agreement with Microsoft not to install another operating system.

waja2000, why you say Android would offer poor multimedia capabilities running under Meizu?

as you said, I know Android uses the Java programming language and WinCE C++ but my knwoledge ends here.

Isn't the hardware the only limitating on the performance of a OS?
