Woot @ new specs :O gimme one NOW! It even has a TV tuner in it :O!!!
Wow, the M8 seems like the ultimate cellular phone! But i can wait,
this collection of extraordinary features takes time to get to market
in germany ... Would you buy a nokia or sony instead of this sweet thing?!
Never!

The M8 seems like the PERFECT phone/mp3 player combo!!! If the specs and price are accurate this will be one hell of a player!!! When are Meizu expected to give an exact release date?

I was thinking about the whole '2 good to be true' notion. If asus can put out this:

http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/06/e...us-eee-pc-701/

for the seemingly ridiculous price of $200 it seems to make sense that the m8 could very well be sold for the suggested pre-release prices. I think Price hikes will come when exported outside china

My Meizu
Does anyone know if this will be GSM quad band? I would absolutely hate to see this phone without the much needed 850 band for us North Americans

Are these pricings real for the m8's without camera? The 8gb without is a fabulous price.

Meizu M8 miniOne Details Unveiled

Is there anything taken off other than the camera for the m8's without cameras.

制式:GSM+EDGE(M8 ), WCDMA/HSDPA/GSM/EDGE(M8 w)
Two versions? M8 with only GSM and EDGE and another M8w with WCDMA/HSDPA/GSM/EDGE?

i really really hope that the m8 will have a proximity sensor to turn off the screen, because pressing buttons when the touch screen is against your face when you're making a call would pretty much suck. That would totally kill the m8. I also wonder if there is a speakerphone on this thing. I want the iphone to die!

What I am wondering about is: If the M8 (mini one) will ever make it into the market, why on earth is there no WiFi capability??? Even with EDGE (costing extra monthly...) I am using EDGE for on line services on my computer. it is ok+, but good WiFi is better. The service provider China Mobile is promising 3G as of late 2007!!! Having said that a 3G capability would also increase the number of buyers. With the processor, the 3MPx camera, upto 16GB storage, etc. this could be the answer to many of us who don't want an iPhone (for many reasons). I would not care if it costs a bit more with WiFi and EDGE/3G.

Best

China and the Chinese government regulations is the answer to your questions, IKEpod. They limit a lot of stuff.

Why is that the moment people discover a new technology is available it becomes a necessity. As of a few months a go nobody cared if their phones had WiFi but now it seems like it's a dire necessity.
