    Need Help in Configuring GPRS

    Hi

I am Rohan .. I recently bought Meizu M8 from China. But now I am in India and using an Airtel Network . I asked for GPRS setting from my network provider as it an international phone they asked to configure it manually and as it is windows based mobile they asked me to create a new connection from control panel-> network connections . but there every thing is in Chinese language I am not able to figure it out what to do. Any help in this reagrds would be highly appreciated.

Also If there are any other Miezu M8 users in India and if they can help me in configuring it would be great

    Thanks in Advance
    Rohan

They have given you these instructions because they think you have a windows mobile OS. You don't. These instructions are wrong. Find out the GPRS settings you need (ask your provider or search online or even search these forums) then go into settings -> EDGE and enter them there. If you can't find that on your phone because it's in chinese then search these forums for how to set it up in English.

    Hope this helps.

I have been given 5 days of internet by T-Mobile UK and I have looked for an EDGE section in my M8 settings menu, but it is not there. What I have done is to go to Settings>GPRS>New and enter the GPRS settings for T-Mobile UK that I found on the internet, except I cannot work out what 'server' should be. Anyway, when I try to enter a URL in the browser I just get an error message. What am I doing wrong?

SUCCESS! You have to turn off WLAN in settings first, before you can connect to the internet.
