Thanked 26 Times in 19 Postsbiggest mischief of meizu was that the firmware was released by far not near v1.0
cant remeber apple did that...
this is still a huge advantage of iphone..the OS
among all the hardware....the OS and how you get along with it..shows the advanced phone
by now its the iphone...
...not everyone has to have an iphone

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHow much money I spend on iPhone apps
Probably 5-10 dollars in the past year. I'm beneath the average amount of apps though with only 8 App Store apps. Used to have much, much more (like 3 extra pages of free apps) but I realised that there is only a select group of apps that I'm actually using often on a phone.
Most paid apps on App Store not that expensive (1-10 dollars), and nice to have if you're specifically looking for something. But trust me, there is enough free stuff available there to keep you busy for the next few years. Thing is half of it is useless crap (Rate-a-fart), but the other half makes it worth while :-P
What I meant with lower featured hardware
I wasn't really considering those aspects (screen res etc), but more the lack of WiFi, 3G, (GPS), things which are more important to me in a phone. True the GPS on the iPhone is still useless for navigation until next month and 3G-plan may be extremely expensive in some parts of the world. But because the unlimited-data came in my 'cheap' contract i noticed how usefull it is to have fast internet on-the-go. Together with even faster WiFi that's why the m8 is underspecced as a phone in my eyes.
Never got the feeling the CPU was 'slow'. The 'small' amount of RAM in the iPhone is actually sorta noticeable when you're jailbreaking. That's when you step outside Apple's box with backgroundprocesses and all kinds of extentions on top of the OS. So I can't really blame them for that, I do notice it sometimes of course as I'm a jailbreaker.

My strongly subjective opinion from here on:
Also like that extra megapixel is going to make the huge difference in shooting pictures with a tiny camera. Pictures on phones are always going to be just funshots for now. Why do you think 99% of camera's are bigger than the phones mentioned..
As for resolution, I have no complaints about the 480x320. Probably that would be the case after I see the m8-screen but then again, no complaints atm
. You're not going to watch your entire 720x480 DVD collection on a 3,5 inch display anyway. It is obviously *hot* to have such a big display of course.
