Keyboard Feedback

Hi all! New to the forums, but have been following the m8 progress for quite a while. One thing I hear very little about is the keyboard. From what I have seen, it looks like it does not have auto-rotate in most of the applications? If so, that's disappointing.

But I had another question, though...just in general, what are your feelings on the keyboard? I was wondering how it felt in comparison to the iPhone's keyboard. And also, does it have the auto-correction feature that the iPhone has as well? To me, that is a big necessity for soft keyboards.

the keyboard is good,there is an english dictionnary and every word you wrote is saved on the dictionnary.You can copy and paste word/sentence.No autocorrection for now but it can be add by firmware release.

Cons: all keyboard can be very buggy.Hopefully they are not always buggy but often IMO.

the auto rotate thing is true, and some apps dont even support the sideways keyboard (with the exception of internet) but the keyboard is very nice, nothing bad visually, but these are the improvements that I propose

• Manual rotate function
• Theme function (colour, style)
• Most importantly, ABILITY to set default, for people new to the forum, the keyboard is currently LOCKED at default chinese, you press the CH button twice to get to english.

much harder to use than iphone keyboard because it doesnt autocorrect. if you type the first letter wrong you have to go all the way back and. guess you can get used to it, but its not comparable to the one on the iphone

Thanks for the feedback, folks! Man, as much as I hate to say it, I think I may have to forego the Meizu in favor of the iPhone. As much of a Meizu fan I've become (especially after the interface redesign!), this hurts. Poo!
