M8 not showing full message

Hi all,

I got a SMS Message today, a mobile tan for online banking. The Sender is not a phone number but "mobile TAN". My M8 showed me that i got this message and i can see it at the messages overview which shows a 2 line preview. But when i want to read the whole message it only shows me the sender at the top of the screen but there is no message below.

I guess its because of the space in the sender but is there a way to read the message? when i tap on the message, usually it is marked as read but this message always remains unread (i.e. i didnt read it and i cant read it).

I hope you get my problem, otherwise i could make some screenshots...

Sounds like a serious problem. Some of the users here complained about the same thing. Might be worth reporting bugs on their official english forum too...

I've had this problem previously when outlook put a space in a phone number of one of my contacts.

The Message shows up in the overview...



But when i want to read it...

... no message appears!

problem was solved by meizu support!

"Pls put the attached file to \windows, then test, hope you can give us some feedback."

i packed the .dll and attached it here just in case somebody has the same problem...
