M8 Tri Band?

Hi all,
I'm currently residing in HangZhou right now, and the other day I went to a store to take a look at the M8, I asked the sales person there if the phone would work in Canada, and he said yes it's tri band.
I'm a bit skeptical of that statement cos I remember reading somewhere that M8 was only Dual Band, can anyone clarify on this?

Also, can someone clarify the pricing for me? Cos i went to two stores which had different prices, one store sold the 16GB for 2680 RMB, and Trust Mart sold it for 2480 RMB.

if I understand it right, official, the M8 is a dual-band phone, but in fact it is a quad-band....

I know that the official is dual and the test version quad. I dont think that the official is in fact a quad band.

Your price are very expensive, i've bought mine 8GB at 1999 RMB and the seller has tell me 16GB cost 2350 in Cyber Market of Tianjin.
