Send Email Error with 1und1!

Hi,
I have 2 emial Account on my M8.
The first one (yahoo) works fine!
With the second one (1und1) I can only receive emails. If I want to send an email I get the message: "Send Email Error". This appears after authentication...

How can I fix it?

And my MSN doesn't work too. I can't connect...

I dont know for 1und1 but for Hotmail it's working :

Pop : pop3.live.com (Port 995 - SSL enable)
Smtp : smtp.live.com (Port 25 - SSL enable)
User : <your_email_adress@hotmail.com>
Password : <your_password>

Not forgot to put user and password for pop and smtp too
You need to go in the advanced part to setup the port and enable SSL

POP3-Server (Eingang): pop.1und1.de (unverschlüsselt und über TLS: Port 110, SSL: Port 995)
SMTP-Server (Ausgang): smtp.1und1.de (unverschlüsselt und über TLS: Port 25

I´ve the same problem. I tried severeal port as 25, 587, 995 with and without ssl but every time I got the Message "email send error" after authentication.

Any hint? I´m not the only one with the 1und1-Mailserver it seems.

how u slolved it? i mean last post in this tread was Jun 2009. so did u manage, or did u give up? .. i don't need any answers like "did u really put ur pw, and is it put correctly"

some providers still make use of the old "pop3 check before smtp" method to provide minimal authentication security for old smtp servers (SSL and TLS have been unknown at that time). M8 fw does not yet support this. So, you may be successful if you check your mail and then immediately send your mail again.
I do not have 1und1, so I cannot try it out.

i was not succsessful with updating mail and sending a mail immediately..
i think i'll only use my gmail account, that works..

epic fail : just detected that my 2cnd mail is not gmail its ymail -> yahoo (never use it so i didnt know) xD .. yahoo (standard mail) doesnt support pop -.- ...

just wanted to add that
