Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostProblem: Internet With WLAN/WiFi
Hello MeizuMe-Community,
when I connect to a WLAN network, the "Internet" works (I can acces web pages as normal) for a few minutes but after some time I always get the ERROR page in the browser. Even though the connection seems fine, WLAN icon shows good connectivity and so on.
When I then reconnect to the network it sometimes works again for a few minutes and then I get the ERROR page again.
I already upgraded the firmware, it didn't help, then I downgraded back to an older one, but the problem remains.
We have multiple M8's in our family, and the others are working fine, so its not a problem of the network.
Has someone a similar problem? Or knows how I can fix this?

Thanked 1,049 Times in 391 PostsThis problem existed in older firmwares mainly... I haven't found this in the latest firmware. Which one do you have installed right now? I recommend you always use the latest firmware.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have similar wifi problem, I' ve got my M8 16GB a week ago with firmware 0.9.0.4. Wifi was cracked by M8Cracker. At home I have 2 access points, the M8 detects them all, to one I could log in, but not to the other one. On both DHCP is enabled. I tried everything to log in to the second one, disabled the client filter, WPA2 protection, changed channel an so far, but no result. The wifi net is detected by the M8, but it receives no ip address. After that I upgraded to FW 0.9.0.5., cracked again with M8 cracker and installed M8Sprite with the result, that now I have no access to any wifi net at home. The M8 shows now the same behavior to both access points. The most strange is, that the M8 connects to the wifi net at my working place without any problems. Yesterday I cleaned registry, reinstalled FW 0.9.0.5, cleared again registry, but the result is the same, no wifi access to the 2 nets at home, but wifi at work. I compared all settings in the access points at home and at work, but could not find sufficient differences. I would be very grateful for any suggestions!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSolution for my wifi connection problem
Hi, everybody!
I found the solution for my problem. Tried again to connect to wifi at home after I had disabled wpa2 protection in a access point, it worked. Comparing wpa2 keys I found out, that the key at work contains only numbers. After I deleted the letters from the wpa2 keys at home, I enabled wpa2, and the m8 logged in to both access points. Maybe that is due to the German keyboard I installed after first successful wlan connection at home. I hope that my post can help somebody with similar difficulties!
