Firmware bugs...i wrote an email to meizu...

...and this is what they said...:

Dears Sirs,

why is it so hard for you to bring out a good firmware? Have you ever seen the meizume.com forum? Please read all the topics to the bugs in your fw. Keep working hard on that and bring out a nice (and bug-free) one soon…

For the Meizu M8, we are working on it and please note that some of the bugs will be improved / fixed to meet the international standard a little later until we are ready to start the oversea's market.

Nothing new but i just wanted to share this information with you guys!

It's nice that they acknowledged that we exist tho.

i think it would have been good if you actually mentioned a few of the bugs, because that would get them looking and changing.
WELL DONE for the email, its great that someone finally got their act together to do something about it. great.

I'd be happy enough if they changed the English keyboard layout to something resembling the international keyboard thread, and added character count on sms.

Keep emailing to Meizu, Let them know it worth to go oversea, show them there are mass user outside and market is big enough too invest, and many opportunities to become an real international brand

As I'm Meizu Thailand Forums Admin, I have a page which member can see Meizu email and link to send mail to them with hint to send this in the same way

If you point out how simple some of the changes we're asking for must be for them (like defaulting keyboard to EN) then surely they'll make them...

They are CHINESE... they don't know how to accept constructive criticism

I bet you that with all the indoctrination they go through they can't imagine that they made something that is so buggy.

I can almost see Jack Wong in the mornings in front of his staff lecturing them like they do at resturaunts in China with waiters. Everybody bobbing thier heads and then yelling in unision.
