MMS settings in Europe/Austria

This is a discussion on MMS settings in Europe/Austria within the General Meizu M8 forums, part of the Meizu M8 category; I have all my "Wap,Web,MMS,..." from orange, but do not succeed to send a MMS after many hours of trying.... ...

    MMS settings in Europe/Austria

    I have all my "Wap,Web,MMS,..." from orange, but do not succeed to send a MMS after many hours of trying....
    Is it impossible to send MMS (Orange/Austria) or am I just dumb ???

    hi you probably figured it by now but if you with a +44 and take away the 0 at the front of the number it will send it .to be honest am thinking of saving all my contants in this way so i can tx easily...

    hi i got this email for o2 settings if it helps anyone....
        1. Press the Menu key (it’s a circular logo to the right of the green Call button)
        2. Select Tools > Settings
        3. From the Main Menu select Tools > Settings
        4. Using the arrows, scroll to Connection and press Open
        5. Scroll to Destinations and press Open
        6. Scroll to Multimedia messaging scroll to Open
        7. Press Options and select New access point
        8. You will be asked if you want to automatically check for available access points. Select No
        9. Select Packet data
        10. Type in o2mms (make sure you enter this in lower case letters – please note that o is a letter and not a number)
        11. Press OK
        12. Scroll to o2mms and press Edit
        13. Scroll to Access point name and press Change
        14. Type in wap.o2.co.uk (make sure you enter this in lower case letters – please note that o is a letter and not a number)
        15. Press OK
        16. Scroll to User name and press Change
        17. Type in o2wap (make sure you enter this in lower case letters – please note that o is a letter and not a number)
        18. Press OK
        19. Scroll to Prompt Password andpress Change until No appears
        20. Scroll to Password and press Change
        21. Type in password (make sure you enter this in lower case letters. You need to wait for a letter to be replaced with a * before you can enter the next letter)
        22. Press OK
        23. Scroll to Authentication and press Change until Normal appears
        24. Scroll to Homepage and press Change
        25. Type in http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:80002 (make sure you enter this in lower case letters)
        26. Press OK
        27. Highlight Use access point and press Change until After confirmation appears
        28. Press Options and select Advanced Settings
        29. Scroll to Network Type and press Change until IPv4 appears
        30. Scroll to Proxy Server Address and press Change
        31. Type in 193.113.200.195
        32. Press OK
        33. Scroll to Proxy port and press Change
        34. Type in 8080
        35. Press OK
        36. Press Back twice
        37. Scroll to o2web
        38. Press Options > Organise > Change priority
        39. Press the up arrow until you’ve highlighted the top access point in the list and press OK
        40. Press Back
        41. Scroll to WAP services and press Options > Default connection
        42. Scroll to Always ask and press Select
        43. Press the red End call button
        44. Press the Menu button and select Messaging
        45. Press Options > Settings > Multimedia Message
        46. Scroll to Access Point in use and press Change
        47. Select O2 MMS and press OK
        48. Press the red End call button
        49. Switch your phone off and then on again and you’re ready to go!

    sorry, are you talking about the Meizu M8 ??? -do not get it !!
