Earphone problem

Hi I just got a new problem with my M8 in the earphone jack. I'm not a big technology person so I'm not too sure on what's happening. I found this when I was listening to music. Through the earphone only the background music like the drums and guitar was playing. However the lyrics were faded. Then I tried to listen with the speakers and it was perfect. I also tried watching videos with the same result.
Plase help!!!

Try to plug it in harder. It's a result of bad contact.

Turn it around/slightly plug it out while you are listening to music to see if that helps.

I use my earphones at school, but for some reason if i fully plug them in i get the same result as you have, but when i plug it just a little bit out, then the music is loud and clear instantly, very weird, but it works fine!

Also try with an ordinary earphone set, so you can compare, if you get a good result, you probably havent pluged it in properly.

I tried doing both of these nothing would work. However I found that if I kept pushing the earphone to the left when facing the screen the sound was perfect. Now I'm thinking one of the prongs is damaged?

These contacts are damaged, dont know how to get futher by solving this problem......
